Tackling South Pacific Islander Rugby Players in Narbonne.

17/04/15 Friday, France, Leucate to Nabonne, via Port La Nouvelle & Peyiac de Mer. 54kms, cloudy, 15 - 20km/h headwinds, 35kms along highways & 19kms along pistes & backroads. Depart 9am, a Arrive 4pm

No Beer for 2 Days Now. I'm ok just.!

Don't they like to sell food & drink before 1pm in France ! Yesterday we walked 3kms from the campground and back in the search of a cold beer. The Carrefour Store only had hot beer on the shelf, but you could get a nice cold white wine out of the fridge. Why ? So we ended up with a bottle Red for 3€. Once back at the CG a nice spot in the closed campground bar was found, we vamped some electricity for Jen's phone & knocked back the bottle of Red wine. We then looked at each other and wished we had a second bottle !

The next day...

Then we stopped at Port La Nouvelle for lunch at 12.30pm, I thought this will be a good chance for a nice cold ale, but every thing was closed. So we ate our buns (pain) and ham that I had bought as a back up at the Bakery back in Leucate. Then continued on our way.

Drinks at the Wallabeer Bar , no Aussies but us with a group of pacific Island rugby players out on a bucks night. Nearly ended up as fight night , but dodged a bullet after some sweet talking to Jerry, the Samoan Giant Man & we went back to the hotel....?

Got to catch up on the blog while we have wifi, as they say a photo says 1000 words, photo captions later, seriously guys really difficult to make Android, Apple, Nikon and Microsoft all talk with each other. Only text at the moment, all Narbonne pics are on my smartphone I'll definitely come back and download once I have access.
