So we are trying to see as many family members as possible before we go and take many pictures, as there are lots of young people who change real quick and we don't want to get them mixed up on our return.

Lucky for us, lots of them made a special effort to visit with us and wish us luck, and make fun of our choice in adventures, as is the Aussie way.

We also made a trip to Perth to get some last minute equipment/clothing, but mainly to catch up with our youngest daughter, Olivia. It is her birthday on Friday (13th March), and she will be working. Poor Liv, but that's a Chefs life isn't it?
So to Fremantle for Beer and Chicken Parmy at the Sail & Anchor, then off to Cold Rock, for ice-cream as we had no birthday cake.
This extended good-bye thing is exhausting. Still more family to catch up with this weekend.
