It was very nice to wake up clean, go to a proper toilet, and relax on a comfy lounge. We did this for most of the morning. I did finish the washing, and Will did clean the bikes and make minor adjustments. Baz was still looking after us, and made us some lunch, before we walked into town to do some shopping for the next bit, and check if my long awaited bike shorts had arrived.
On the way to town, we heard a muffled cry for help.....hey? We searched high and low for the person needing help, and spotted an elderly man on the roof of his house. He was laying down and stuck on the roof. It was Will to the rescue, as he walked through the mans house from the front to the back, fighting off the young terrified pit bull, and managed somehow to hold the ladder and talk the man through climbing down. The poor old bugger had bad knees, shaking hands, bare feet, and no jocks on (we know, cause Will happened to be looking up the whole time, poor Will). He managed to get back out without being eaten by the scary dog, and we continued on the mission.
At the post office, I was happily surprised to find my pants (thank you mumsie) and then we spent up big at IGA. We carried our goods back and continued resting. Then Barry took us on a drive along the Dundas Coach Road Heritage Trail, and showed us another great track, with some interesting history. We all went to dinner at the pub, and had a quiet night at home before we hit the long road tomorrow.
